Mission
JMA is proud to showcase the work of US-based GLEAM (Global Leadership Enhancement and Mentorship) Network, a non-profit, volunteer-based organization whose mission is to provide mentorship and leadership development to underserved and underrepresented members of the restaurant, foodservice, and hospitality industries. It believes (and we at JMA wholeheartedly agree!) that everyone willing to learn and grow deserves the opportunity to further their leadership journey with support from others.
Programs
GLEAM Network offers a range a of programs designed to advance careers, foster community connections, promote diversity and inclusion, and nurture the leaders of the future – all of which contributes to the long-term growth and sustainability of the restaurant, food service, and hospitality industries:
- Get Ready, a student mentorship program
- Start Strong and Accelerate, a career advancement program that provides soft skills for hourly-paid team members
- Level Up, a mentor program for mid-level emerging leaders
- Master Class, an executive leadership mentor program for Directors to the C-Suite
- Learning Circles, a series of online events in which participants can engage with industry leaders
- LEAD (Leadership, Exploration and Development), a program of in-person events designed to inspire and educate
